Other
Insurance Trap!
- it is recommended that everyone travelling together insures together on the
same policy especially if travelling as a family group. When one person opts for
specialist cover and the rest of the party insure buys other insurance, all
claims could be refused under the
other insurance if there is a claim connected with one person
insuring separately, eg if the trip has to be cancelled, curtailed or if there
is a problem during your trip with regard to the medical condition of the person
insuring separately. Travelling together? Insure together! Fortis Insurance offer
a reliable 24hr Worldwide Assistance Service. You must keep to the policy
conditions enclosed with your certificate to have the full protection of your
policy. If you do not Fortis Insurance may cancel your policy or the Claims
Service could refuse to deal with your claim, or reduce the amount of any
payment for a claim.
